Kelvin enjoys a busy bilingual criminal practice as well as an employment law practice which spans from advising on contracts to labour law disputes and appeals.

 

 

Kelvin obtained his B.Com majoring in Economics, Finance and Marketing at the University of Toronto prior to studying law. Upon receiving his GDL in the United Kingdom and PCLL in Hong Kong, he began practice in 2006.

In his criminal practice, Kelvin predominantly conducts bilingual trials and appeals for the defence, while occasionally prosecutes for the Department of Justice on-fiat. Kelvin has also represented institutional clients at departmental proceedings as well as various tribunal hearings, including SFC enquiries.

In addition to his private practice, Kelvin had previously sat as a Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Presiding Officer at the Magistrates’ Courts and the Labour Tribunal.

Kelvin is also very active as a volunteer working towards the rehabilitation of young offenders having served as a guest speaker for the Hong Kong Playground Association. He has also lent his time as an instructor to secondary school students in the Mock Trial Competition Project organised by The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong.
