Joyce is developing a broad practice in civil and criminal law. She has been involved in cases concerning a wide range of areas, including family, employment, personal injuries, contract, company, competition, intellectual property, probate and trust, land, judicial review and public law.

Prior to joining the bar, Joyce obtained LLM in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Laws in 2015 at the University of Hong Kong and she was invited to join the IP Ambassador Programme of the Intellectual Property Department of Hong Kong in 2016 to 2017. She joined Chambers in 2019 upon completion of pupillage with Mr. Hectar Pun S.C, Mrs. Lisa Remedios, Mr. Joseph Lee and Mr. Richard Yip.

In her first civil case, Joyce acted as junior counsel for one of the parties in the second enforcement action brought before the Competition Tribunal: Competition Commission v. W.Hing Construction Company Limited & Ors (CTEA2/2017). Whereas in her first criminal case, Joyce obtained a bind-over order for a defendant charged with assaulting a police officer.

Joyce accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work and pro bono work.
